The IC-F300S series is Icom 's new, low-cost, mobile transceiver range. Two models make up the range, the VHF IC-F310S and the UHF IC-F410S. Both are aggressively priced to target the volume mobile user

The IC-F300S series comprises the:

Built to a tough construction the, IC-F300S series offers a comprehensive range of features and various security options, which makes them ideal for a wide variety of PMR users, such as taxi operators, farmers and security firms. The flexibility of its operation and ease of use means that it is also an excellent first step for those who require mobile radio transceivers for their business.

The IC-F300S is based on the popular IC-F300 and has eight memory channels, arranged in two banks of four. It uses LED indicators to show channel, scan and TX/RX conditions. In addition, all the front panel keys are illuminated for use in low-light conditions. Cosmetically it is very similar to the IC-F300, and like it’s sister product, there are six programmable controls with a range of uses. Despite its compact size, the transceiver offers a built-in speaker, capable of delivering 2W of clear audio.

The IC-F300S features three scan options. These include standard channel scan, priority-scan with TX on the busy channel or priority scan with TX on the priority channel. The scan activation method is also dealer programmable.

We can easily configure for you channel data via the PC cloning software. This means that data can be quickly programmed or changed to suit individual users. Such options include enhanced security features to prevent unauthorised use and deter thieves, including a programmable 4-digit password prevents unauthorised use. The transceiver can also be remotely disabled or placed in TX for monitoring purposes.

The IC-F300S is also built to withstand everyday use in arduous commercial environments. It has a polycarbonate front panel and die cast chassis compiling with MIL-810 C, D and E for shock and vibration. A mounting bracket, operators handbook, DC power cable, fist microphone and fitting accessories are all supplied as standard.
