Keypad with backlighting and dot matrix, multi-function display

The keypad on the front panel allows direct input of memory channels, DTMF codes, tone frequenciesand SmarTrunk II codes. Backlighting ensures smooth input even during nighttime operation. The display shows a wide variety of information at a glance. In addition to various icons, 2 lines of dot matrix characters (of up to 16 characters per line) show important operating status such as channel number, programmable key functions, etc., depending on programming.
