Works continously over all bands, also outside amateur bands. The SWR is typically below 1.5:1 when tuned correctly. Antenna weigh approx. 2.5kg, max. power load 1000W (SSB,CW).

The antenna consists of a lower part which houses a large, motor driven aircoil, and a conical steel whip about 1.8m long. Under restricted space conditions shorter whips can be used (with reduced functionality at lower band edges). The solid mount is suitable for flat surfaces or masts, the antenna can be removed quickly from the mount. The remote motor control is done with a small box from the shack or from the car interior (12V supply required, control box included).

Due to the 1.2m long, non radiating base this antenna is very well suitable for large vehicles like campers, RVs, 4x4, where a traditional antenna cannot be used.
