MFJ-207 / SWR Analyser

The MFJ-207 10-160 Meter Antenna SWR Analyzer gives you a direct readout of your antenna's SWR without the need for formulas or indirect readings. The MFJ-207 can also be used to adjust a tuner to match your antenna without the need for transmitting. The frequency coverage for the MFJ-207 is approximately from 1.75 MHz to 30 MHz in five bands. This provides a very smooth reading of SWR at high frequencies. The coverage for each band may slightly vary from the coverage labled on the cover. The bands and coverage are:

BAND A: 1.75 - 3.00 MHz
BAND B: 3.00 - 5.00 MHz
BAND C: 6.50 - 11.70 MHz
BAND D: 11.65 - 20.00 MHz
BAND E: 18.00 - 30.00 MHz

It has a jack for an external frequency counter. The MFJ-207 uses a 9V battery or external EDC 12V. It measures 19H x 6.5W x 5.7D cm

The MFJ-925 has been designed for today's compact home, portable or mobile ham stations.The MFJ-925 IntelliTunerTM specifically complements today's compact HF transceivers, such as the IC-706MKIIG, IC-7000, FT- 857D, DX-70TH and TS-50S. It can also be used as a stand-alone automatic antenna tuner for any transceiver that has an output power of 2 to 200W SSB/CW from 1.8 to 30MHz with antenna impedances from 6 to 1600 ohms. MFJ's exclusive InstantRecallTM, IntelliTuneTM and AdaptiveSearchTM algorithms gives you fast automatic tuning with more than 20,000 non-volatile Virtual AntennaTM Memories. The antenna has eight banks of memory, with over 2500 non-volatile memories for tuner settings. A maximum of 256 values of inductance and 256 values of capaitance are available. With the capacitance switched between the input and output side, this provides a total of 131,072 L/C tuning combinations. The MFJ-931 creates an artificial ground, it resonates a random length of wire thrown along the floor and produces a tuned counterpoise. This artificial ground effectively places your rig near actual ground potential; even if your rig is on the second floor or higher where no earth ground is possible. It eliminates hot spots and RF feedback created by bad earthing.

This new MFJ Cross Needle SWR/Wattmeter covers HF thru VHF 1.8 - 60MHz, 144 MHz and 440 Mhz bands -- for an incredibly low $84.95! MFJ-864 Cross-Needle Meter reads forward and reflected power and SWR simultaneously at a single glance. It features separate HF and VHF/UHF directional couplers, each with its own SO-239 connectors. This lets you connect your HF and VHF/UHF transceivers at the same time. You can then monitor SWR and power of either transceiver at the flick of switch. Tips voor de tuners.

Een tuner wordt gebruikt om de ingangsimpedantie van een antenne aan te passen aan de 50 ohm impedantie van de zender. Dit is nodig om het optimaal vermogen te bekomen en de eindtrap correct te belasten. Bovendien werkt de tuners als filter zowel tijdens het ontvangen als het zenden.

De tuner maakt gebruik van een T-filter met een regelbare in- en uitgangscondensator en een schakelbare spoel of rolspoel. De meeste tuners hebben ook een kruismeter die het vermogen en de SWR weergeeft en een balun voor 300 ohm antennes. Sommige tuners hebben een 50 ohm dummy load.

De keuze van tuner is afhankelijk van het frequentiespectrum, het maximaal zendvermogen en de gebruikte antenne.
